Leaf blocks done!

I didn't realize that it had been so long since I updated my blog. Guess I got busy in September, went on vacation on September 26th and didn't return until October 9th! I have been "catching up" with everything since then.

Tonight I will be finishing the last of my leaf blocks. That's good, because we are going to exchange them at a retreat this Friday! I can't wait to see what others have done with their blocks. I chose to applique the leaves because few others enjoy doing the handwork button-hole stitch as I do. Most everyone I have met does some machine applique, but mostly piecing by machine for their blocks. I really enjoy the handwork! I will post a photo of all the blocks once I have them.
